I have been terrible about updating on Lacey-Grace!! The past six months have been nothing but a joy....even with getting up in the middle of the night. I am so blessed to be able to stay at home with her and do not like leaving her much at all. In fact, I probably could count on one hand the amount of times I have left her. I guess you can call that first time mom syndrome :) The first couple of months all she did was sleep...all the time, literally! She loves to ride in the car though and after a few minutes she will fall asleep until you get where you are going. She is spoiled and loves to be held a lot, I think I am guilty in that I created that! However, she may have my personality and not liking to be alone because generally I don't either.
At her sixth month check-up she weighed 14lb 7 oz putting her in the 18% which is a little bit of a jump since her 4 month! They are thinking she may be petite, only time will tell! She just transitioned to her sixth month clothes but is still wearing a few three months. She loves to roll over, smiling, sucking her thumb and playing with her feet. No teeth yet, but maybe in the next few months! We have tried some homemade oatmeal, but doesn't seem too interested in eating. Normally, she just will put her thumb in her mouth :(
Being a parent is a lot of fun, but comes with a huge responibility. We can't wait to see what the next six months will bring! :)
