January 31??? Really??? This month has gone by so quickly! This may be due to to the whirlwind, crazy, hectic and busy month! lol January normally goes by slow, but not this time! It has been an exciting month filled with adventure! One place we visited was Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse. Daniel has always wanted to go here, but we just never went. Our church had a couples night out to Rioz and Daniel was VERY excited! It was really good and if you are meat eater..well, this is your type of place! (you will think you are in heaven) :) Also, another thing new for the month is back to couponing! I did this in NC and saved a lot of money!! However, once we moved we had to cancel our News & Observer :( It was even delivered to our front door, I now realize that I was being spoiled rotten with that aspect! haha I found a way to get JUST the coupon inserts and not pay for the whole newspaper! I am quite addicted to it and my favorite part is seeing how much I save each week! I also made laundry detergent! Daniel decided to get a pinterest (it is not that strange when you see the stuff he pins, its NOT girly stuff lol) and he saw that you could make it and mentioned it to me. Well, I kind of took that as a hint and when he came home the next day.... homemade laundry detergent sat on the counter! [brownie points for me :)] It is a lot cheaper, it comes to less than .01 a load! YAY!
I am excited for February to roll in! We decided against gifts for v-day when we got married. Mainly, because I DESPISE flowers only because it is a certain day or gifts for that matter. Instead, I love it when he sends them to me randomly! lol Instead, we just go somewhere special to eat. Last year we went before valentines day due to the location and on the 14th I was going to fix a nice dinner until the kitchen almost caught on fire...literally. It was an electrical problem and not my cooking! haha Well, Daniel has informed me that he has a surprise this year....and he is holding it over my head that he knows what it is! (aggravating I know) I can't wait to find out! :)
So much has happened in January and we are enjoying our life together more than ever! Cannot wait for February! :)
Until Next Time,

Out with the Old....In with the New!
The past few weeks have flown by or so it seems! Christmas was so much fun! I have so much fun shopping for Daniel for Christmas and it never fails that he goes WAY overboard for me. I think i wrapped like 9 or so presents for him and when he showed me my stack of presents it was past 13, I think! His excuse is that he buys stuff for himself through the year, but I (being my money saving self) do not really buy for myself through the year. I really enjoy opening presents together, it has become a very special time at Christmas! I was able to stay a few extra days at my parents house which was nice, especially since I was able to get together with my kindred spirit aka Caroline Marie. It was a very busy time while I was there though, due to some things that have been going on but still enjoyable!
As much as I enjoyed Christmas, I am ready to return to normality! Daniel and I rang in the New Year watching everything on T.V. He woke up and went hunting but then we went off for the day! It was nice just to relax and not have a schedule and just enjoy being together. Last year we made a list of our resolutions we wanted to achieve and I must say we did a pretty good job! (probably the first time we ever kept any) So we have made a few New Year Resolutions and hope to be just as successful. I think the key for myself is making goals I know I can achieve, and not making 20 goals but just one or two! We are excited to see what 2013 has in store for us!
